The video, which mixes drone and ground camera footage, was filmed on the northern (Chinese Tibet) side of the mountain, which sits along the border with Nepal to the south. With a peak of just over 29k ft. above sea level (around 8.8k m), Mt. Everest wasn't scaled by a documented climb until 1953, and not from its northern side until 1960.

Qomolangma (also called Everest), the main peak of the Himalayas, is the highest mountain on Earth. At an altitude of 8848.43 meters, it is located at 86.9 ° E and 27.9 ° N, just on the eastern section of the China-Nepal border, with the northern slope of Tingri County of the Tibet Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China, and the southern slope of the Kingdom of Nepal. In Tibetan, Qomolangma means "Goddess of the Earth". And in Nepali, it is called Sagarmatha which means "Goddess of the Sky". Qomolangma, shaped like a gigantic pyramid and the land features are extremely precipitous and the environment is generally complicated. The snow line of the northern slope is 5,800 – 6,200 meters and that of the southern slope is 5,500 – 6,100 meters. Three large cliffs, which are generally named the northern cliff, the eastern cliff and the southwest cliff, are embraced by the northeast ridge, the southeast ridge and the west ridge. Between the ridges and cliffs disperse 548 continental glaciers, totaling an area of 1457.07 square kilometers, the average depth is 7,260 meters.
