Top AirVuz contributor AndreaSagui was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist in September, 2025 for this fantastic wintertime drone video of the Dolomite Mountains in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy.   Part of the Southern Limestone Alps, the Dolomites are spread across seven provinces in the (west to east) Trentino-Alto-Adigio, Veneto, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions.  Known for their distinctive sharp peaks, the Dolomites range in height up to about 11k ft. above sea level (just over 3.3k m).

Description:

My four-year long journey immortalizing the splendid Dolomites between the light of dawn and dusk, accompanied by the icy cold of winter. Among the majestic peaks of the snow-capped Dolomites, the silence of winter envelops everything. At dawn, the first rays of sunlight paint the sky with warm hues while the fresh snow crunches under my feet, making me sink into this pristine world with every step. At sunset, the mountains alight with golden light, transforming the biting cold into pure magic. A journey of toil and wonder, where wild nature offers breathtaking emotions.
