Top AirVuz contributor and pilot davidpardo71 won the Drone Video of the Week contest in April of 2025 with this fantastic video from the Pyrenees Mountains. With peaks ranging up to altitudes of about 11.2k ft. above sea level (around 3.4k m), the Pyrenees form the natural boundary between Spain and France, dividing the Iberian peninsula from the "mainland" of Europe. The video was filmed over northern Spain and Andorra, a tiny landlocked country located on the eastern side of the chain.

Description: In this section, l, leave the valleys behind to reach the high peaks of the Pyrenees, reaching altitudes exceding 3000 meters on several of their peaks, except for the sundial, which was a brief excursion of barely an hour. Some of these peaks became unforgettable settings, marked by nigths filled with experiences and dreams. Reaching these places to film the landscapes is not easy, it requires hours of effort, both in summer and winter, carrying a backpack, a stove, food, a sleeping bag crampons, an ice axe, and everything necessary for filming and bivouacking in winter, the challenge is even greater; temperatures at night drop well below zero, and without the proper equipment and experience, life can hang in the balance. However, it is precisely in these conditions, between the exhaustion of the day and the icy calm of the night, that dreams seem to take shape.
