Balicasag Island, Philippines: A Sea, Air, and Land Experience

Among the hundreds of islands of the Central Visayan region of the Philippines (also sometimes known as the Central Philippines), one of the smallest may be its most beautiful.  The tiny island of Balicasag is situated southwest of Bohol and due east from the southern tip of Cebu, two of the larger Visayan islands.  Balicasag is a snorkeler's paradise, and its white sand beaches are perfect for a day of relaxation.  In this drone video by top contributor Chester Isulat, you'll see this nearly perfect circle of an island from above.

Description: Balicasag Island, which is a part of the municipality of Panglao, Bohol, in the Philippines is an almost circular island with a diameter of about 600 Meters, located about 30 minutes away by boat, from Alona Beach or 18 Kilometers away from Tagbilaran City. It has white sandy beaches, and is surrounded by corals. A diverse range of marine wildlife can be found in the area and the waters surrounding it including, Hawksbill Turtles, Dolphins, and numerous fishes, thus making it a popular scuba diving and snorkeling location. This is a look in the little island, filmed from the sea, land, and air.
